Care Aides - Qualifications

• Grade 12 education plus graduation from a recognized Long Term Care Aide program and has had Dementia Care component in their program or has completed a recognized Dementia Care program; food safe level One, current CPR certification plus minimum 1 year experience in Long Term Care preferred

Re-hab Assistant - Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus completion of recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program plus 1 year's recent, related experience working with seniors or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Current Class 4 BC driver's license (unrestricted)
• Valid First Aide Certificate

Activity Aide - Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus completion of recognized recreational aide certificate program and 2 years recent, related experience working with seniors or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Current Class 4 BC driver's license
• Valid First Aide Certificate including CPR "C"
• Food Safe Level 1

Recreation Coordinator - Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized recreation coordinator program plus three years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Valid First Aid Training, CPR – "C"
• Valid Class4 Driver's License
• Food Safe Level 1

L.P.N. - Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the CLPNBC
• Current full scope practising licensure with the CLPNBC
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Gerontological experience preferred

R.N. - Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current practising registration with Registered Nurses Association of British Columbia(RNABC) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of British Columbia (RPNABC)
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Gerontological experience preferred
